When I hear people say Walt Disney World is just for kids, I cringe.  As an adult, I truly enjoy Disney vacations, even without my kids!  Yes, I love the parks and the rides from my childhood, but as an adult, I appreciate the world class food and entertainment, the shopping and the night life. Yes, the night life.

Didn’t know that Disney had an adults only night life?  Well, let me tell you about my favorite spot…Jelly Rolls.

Jelly Rolls is a 21 and over dueling piano bar located on the Boardwalk.  There is a cover charge to enter, so be sure to bring cash. The bar is not large, so be sure to get there early (bar opens at 7 p.m.) as tables go quickly. Plus, you’ll want to be close to the stage to see the dueling maestros.

Jelly Rolls is unlike any dueling piano bar I’ve ever been to.  It’s a cross between a concert and group karaoke. Guests request songs on napkins and deliver them to the musicians. (Pro tip: include a cash tip with your request for better odds of getting it played.) Believe me when I say these guys can play anything. I mean anything! I’ve seen them rock out to everything from Backstreet Boys to Sir Mix A Lot, from Garth Brooks to Britney Spears, and from Journey to Blacksteet.  Oh, and not only can they play it…but, they are GOOD!  I love how the whole bar gets into every song, belting it out with everyone else, cheering on the musicians, and enjoying the musician’s crazy antics.  Each new song played brings cheers, people jumping up to dance, and the entire bar lifting their glasses to sing along.

Jelly Rolls is also a full service bar able to mix up whatever you desire, even offering a variety of specialty drinks.  There is also a nightly drink special sold in a 32 oz. red Solo cup.  Hands down, whatever the red Solo cup drink is, it’s the most popular drink of the night.

Jelly Rolls is the perfect place for adults to have a fun night out! You’ll find yourself laughing, singing, and dancing all night long. Before you know it, it’s 2 a.m.!

So, are you excited to try out my favorite night spot yet? Oh, wait…you brought the kids to WDW! Good news…quite a few of the deluxe resorts offer kids’ clubs in the evenings for an additional charge. (Check out the blog for more on this in the future!)
